Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and West Norriton Township Police Chief Dale Mabry announce the arrest of Vincent A. Cirillo, Jr. for Rape, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Sexual Assault, and Indecent Assault.
On August 6, 2015 a report was made to West Norriton Township Police that a rape had occurred on August 3, 2015. The victim identified the perpetrator as Vincent A. Cirillo, Jr., an attorney that was hired to represent her. An investigation into this allegation was conducted by West Norriton Township Police with assistance from the Montgomery County Detective Bureau.
The defendant was arraigned today before Magisterial District Judge Margaret Hunsicker. Bail was set at $100,000, which the defendant subsequently posted. The defendant waived his preliminary hearing.
