On Friday, November 18th at 7:30pm a coffeehouse will take place at Ambler Church of the Brethren. Miriam Moyer, a licensed wildlife rehabilitator who cares for about 400 birds annually in Montgomery County, will speak and present a slide show about her work to save wild birds in our area. She started as a volunteer, helping songbirds, swifts, swallows, woodpeckers and mourning doves on the way to recovery back in 1988. Her clinic, White Flicker, opened in 2005 and it now includes a website, www.whiteflicker.org.
She plans to bring two education birds with her – Little Bit, an orchard oriole, and Chipper, a northern cardinal.
A collection will be taken of items to help the cause, including

Local musicians, including Andrew Hoy, Director and Violin Teacher at the Ambler Music Academy, (website, www.amblermusicacademy.com), will provide music early in the evening.
The church is located at 351 E Butler Avenue, Ambler, PA. The building is 1 block west of Bethlehem and Butler Pike, where Butler Avenue intersects with Rosemont Avenue.
