The Boston Marathon bombings put all local bomb squads on notice and the Montgomery County Bomb Squad is paying attention. The Montgomery County Bomb Squad, is a division of the sheriff’s department and offers services to any Montgomery County fire or police department on request. It supports other local, state and federal officials, and provides security clearance services for visiting dignitaries.
