Experience the magic of the holidays at Glen Foerd. While touring the mansion, enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. This year’s decorating theme is “A Celtic Christmas” in honor of the Scottish heritage of the estate’s founder, Charles Macalester. There will be Nutcracker Ballerinas, music and entertainment for the young and young at heart. Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Advance tickets can be purchased online.

Ambler Symphony in Ambler Theater:

Wednesday, December 12 6:30pm to 7:30pm: Concert including some Sing-along with orchestra. Many carols plus: Christmas Festival, Sleigh Ride, Carol of the Bells, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year… then….

7:30pm: Refreshments in the lobby of the theater… followed by….

8 pm: Movie- The Christmas Carol; with Alistair Sim…a favorite with audiences this year.

Admission to all: $10

Wissahickon Middle School Honors Strings in Ambler

Thursday, December 13
4:30pm to 5:00pm in Ambler Library
5:00pm to 5:30pm: Ambler Savings Bank Free admission

Music includes Christmas Time is Here, Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bells, Winter Wonderland, Silent Night, several other carols.

Afterward performers have been invited to the Ambler Bake Shop for hot chocolate!

You are welcome to join Ambler Main Street and The Ambler Symphony for a Christmas celebration………and community event

Wednesday (Dec 14) 6:30pm Concert and 8:00pm Film.

Come to Ambler Theater for the Ambler Symphony to sing along on the carols and listen to Christmas favorites like … Sleigh Ride, Christmas Festival, The Polar Express, Rutter’s arrangement of O Come All Ye Faithful and Waltz of the Flowers.

The movie is…
The Miracle on 34th Street(1947) which will appear in HD Digital. The film will begin after the concert at roughly 8:00pm.
