FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sustainable Upper Dublin

A new organization, Sustainable Upper Dublin, has been formed within this Montgomery County PA community with the goal of promoting a more sustainable lifestyle, consistent with keeping Upper Dublin a place where we would all like to live and work for many years to come.

With a strong emphasis on “Going Green”, the group hopes to build grass roots awareness regarding a host of different environmental issues.

Sustainable Upper Dublin would like to invite all parents, students, and community members to their next free community event which will be held tomorrow night (Wednesday, January 20) at 7:00 PM in the Upper Dublin Township Building.

The event will feature the much discussed, animated video “The Story of Stuff with Annie Leonard.” All are welcome to attend.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Apron Activists held a (mostly vegan) bake sale at Siren
Records in Doylestown this past Saturday that raised $600 for Partners in Health with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Haitian relief efforts.  The story was partly covered here.

We are having another bake sale and have mobilized even more volunteers and are having Vegan Treats Bakery in Bethlehem donate some of their delicious baked goods for the cause.  The event will take place Sunday, January 24th at Siren Records in Doylestown from 11:30 until we run out of food.
