What: Keep Philadelphia Beautiful and sponsor GIANT Food Stores will dedicate a bench at the Office for Community Development of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s recently announced PA Horticultural Society award winning community garden. This event will precede a statewide launch of the plastic bag waste awareness campaign, A Bag’s Life. The campaign messages that people should reduce, reuse and recycle plastic bags, instead of littering or throwing the bags in the trash. The bench is an example of an end product use for recycled plastic bags.
