VOLUNTEER FOR EARTH DAY at GLEN FOERD
Saturday, April 27th, 9:00am – 1:00pm

Glen Foerd is partnering with the Friends of Poquessing Watershed, PA Environmental Council and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation to clean up a small section of the Poquessing Creek bank on the estate property. Help us cleanup trash and remove non-native invasive plants so our visitors will have a better view of the Poquessing’s tidal wetlands.

We encourage participants to bring their own tool such as clippers, shovels, spades, and pitchforks (label with your name). Wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants, hat, sturdy shoes, work gloves and bring a water bottle. We will supply gloves and trash bags

Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering to improve the environment. Call the office if you plan to join us, we need to know how many volunteers to expect. Bring a friend! Refreshments and clean up supplies will be provided.
