More than a dozen area restaurants are participating and will be offering various dinner specials and prix fixe menus. A few restaurants are offering an optional beverage pairing, and there are two who are offering a lunch menu as well.

You’re invited to share in a day filled with art, music, al fresco dining, and shopping in downtown Ambler on Butler Avenue. The Avenue will be closed to allow for artists to fill the streets and for you to spend a relaxing day in the arts and crafts marketplace. The festival will feature a wonderful array of artists including watercolors, oils, sculpture, wood work, jewelry, photography, pottery and much more. Brought to you by Ambler Main Street.

Jenkintown, PA — On, Tuesday, May 15, 2012, a local non-profit organization hosted their first meeting at Brandywine Senior Living at Dresher Estates. Similar meetings will be held meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 PM. Key Speaker for last Tuesday’s event was Sue Weiss of Age Wise Family Services, with special guest PA State Representative Todd Stephens. The next event will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Sunrise Senior Living of Dresher. The topic will be: “Getting Legal Affairs in Order” with speaker Stephen Feldman, Esquire. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome.

“This meeting opportunity was formed to offer information to the adult children of aging parents so they can make better, more informed decisions when they are guiding their parents through the aging process. We will feature speakers each month to address key topics and subjects that will help adult children navigate their new role of caring, loving and guiding their aging parents.”
